Bali part 1
Tjabba tjena hallå! Nu är det dags igen.. Detta inlägg börjar med anländning i Bali och vårat hostel under de första fyra dagarna..
Toodilooo every single beutiful one of you who might end up here! This is my frst post in Bali and it will contain our arrival to our hostel where we spent our first 4 days..
"M Hostel" där vi och många andra, både backpackers och nyblivna studenter, spenderade de första dagarna i Bali.
M Hostel, where we and many others, both backpackers and students, spent our first day(s) in Bali.
Hostel livet är inte alltid glamoröst men det hör till resandet lite.. Man behöver inte alltid leva lyxigt, ibland kan det vara skönt med lite simplicitet.
Our room at the hostel.. Traveling doesn't always have to be glamorous, living in a hostel is simplicity at its finest and it kinda comes with traveling and also gives you a different perspective of things.
Ingen aning om när denna bild blev tagen, men det var väl på någon bakgata någonstans.

There were quite the bunch of people at the hostel, surprisingly for such a simple living, these are only the scooter people!

De är ju skillade.. Bära en tunna med olika frukter på ca 10kg på huvudet och dessutom gå i (i stort sätt) vinterkläder när det är ca 35 grader varmt och solen bränner!
You cannot deny that they are quite skilled.. First off they are carrying a basket full of different kinds of fruit that in total, weighs about 10 kg, and to top it off they are walking around in, basically, winter clothing when its 35 C and the sun is burning like a mother F'er!

Ricky till vänster är Vegan! Hör och häpna, en vegan och jag är största köttäteren efter T-Rex typ! Men med andra ord har det prövats på en hel del ny mat som inte innehåller några som helst djurprodukter! Det har varit minst sagt intressant hittils.
Ricky to the left in the picture is a Vegan! I am truly shocked by myself.. I am such a meat lover its almost insane, give me a nice BBQ stake any day of the week and I will have the biggest and fattest smile on my face the whole day due to the satisfaction of eating a stake!
Anyways, so far I have tried so many vegan meals I feel like its kinda ok, but i do know that i will never become a vegan, like EVER!

Vi har kollat på så många olika villor och hus att när vi väl hittade det som passade oss som bäst, tyngderna på axlarna flög iväg snabbare än en mygga som presic sugit dig torr!
We have been looking at so many different places where we want to live that once we found it, the relief was undescribable, kinda like an orgasm you know

Att vara vit (vi snackar hudfärg) är i Bali sett som väldigt attraktivt.. Detta i mitt tycke kan kännas lite obekvämt vid vissa tillfällen.. Speciellt när lokalbefolkningen går runt och smygfotar, frågar om de får ta bilder tillsammans med dig, visslar, och är allmänt påstridiga.. Sedan är det väldigt trevligt att se hur fruktansvärt glada de blir när man bytt några ord, tagit någon bild osv.. Men ja, vissa är definitivt värr än andra!
To be a white chiquita in a country like Bali, where being pale is seen as extremely attractive is, according to me, not always a nice experience.. However, this ofcourse depends on the local in question.. Some walk around with their phones, filming and sneaking pictures, some are more respectable and ask if they may take a picture with.. I guess its a good deed in a way though, they get extremely happy if you agree and they will walk around and brag to their friends.. A simple picture can truly make someones day!
